The staycation continues....but so does the blogging :)
Now I don't know if you know, but I have extremely long and thick curly hair. I love it but it is difficult to maintain. Last night I stumbled upon some great YouTube videos on different ways to style thick curly hair and how to take care of it. I am putting the link for just one of the videos, however the same user has posted several similar tutorials. So be sure to check them out! I found them very helpful.
Managing curly hair is not only tricky but can also get expensive due to all of the hair products needed to create those fierce curls. Tresemme has a great line of products for naturally curly hair. My favorite product from them through would be the Touchable Curls Shaping Milk.
John Frieda's Frizz Ease line is a bit expensive but it is my personal fave; especially the hairspray. Although you have to dish out some extra cash, I think the results are worth the cost. I use their hairspray as a finishing touch everytime. It keeps my hair from frizzing up and maintains each curl in its proper place for a great all day look. Seriously, this hairspray is awesome!
My last, but not least, suggestion is Marc Anthony's Stricly Curls. This entire line is great. My favorite from the line is the shampoo and conditioner. They come in big bottles that allow your product to last a while. They leave my hair feeling soft and moisturized, and also help bring out my natural curls without as much frizz as other shampoos and conditioners.
I'm heading off to purchase some new hair care products within the next day or so. I'll keep you updated on what I get and what works best and what is not so good. Stay Updated!
